Well these last 8 weeks have been really busy at Sarah Johnson Photography HQ. I have been changing and adapting to the new guidelines both personally and for my business and I have some exciting news to share with you.
So lockdown for me has been a rollercoaster of emotions as I am sure it has been for you too. Ive been up and down as much as the weather I think but I am healthy and happy and my positive cheery self is still here.
Ok, what have I been up to… well apart from tidying and sorting the house like a mad woman at the start (think ill have to redo it again soon) I have also been busy running free photography challenges which have been a major hit and the launch of my mobile phone photography course too. I will tell you more about these soon.
For me personally I have been taking lots of time with my camera we have found so many new walks and trails in our local area that we didn’t even know were there and I have taken 100s of photographs in the last 8 weeks.
I find photography so relaxing and calming for me, not just the taking of the photographs but editing and playing afterwards too I LOVE IT. The 2 week challenges I have been running have helped both me as I have been taking the photographs and also with you, I have loved how so many of you have got everyone in the household involved too which is just brilliant.
My mobile phone photography course was a hit too and to see how much everyone has got from this from, taking time out for themselves, their family and those that are business owners have been creating their own product photography and creating content too. I think we have all developed online friendships which has been a lovely added bonus.
So, moving forward I have a few things to announce:
ONLINE MOBILE PHOTOGRAPHY COURSE- £49
My next mobile phone photography course is open for registrations and is starting tomorrow priced at a one off price of only £49. The course is delivered via an online closed facebook group and runs for 5 weeks. Each week you will have a video with a topics from composition and focusing right through to editing, a weekly wisdom Wednesday post sharing hints and tips and a feedback Friday post for you to submit your photographs for feedback and advice. The feedback from the last course was so positive and the improvements the students have made in only 5 weeks to their photographs and the way they have looked at their photographs has been fantastic. You can even get everyone else in your household involved too. Ready to reserve your spot? Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or message me here
CLICK AND CONNECT PHOTOGRAPH CLUB- £5 per month
My Click and Connect Photography Club is opening this week on Facebook. It’s the perfect way to meet like minded people who love photography and learning too. Every month we will have a chosen theme, hints and tips shared within the group with some live sessions coming too. Suitable for all levels and you can get all the family involved too. Priced at only £5 a month for signups made in May before rising to £10 a month in June.
