With the pressures of school and work mixed with the overload of media it’s hard to step away and build our creative confidence in this modern way of living we have created.
We now live in a world that rarely shuts down for a minute. Our phones are a mobile office, we feel the need to share a daily blog of what we have done each day and there is rarely time to sit in a moment and completely quiet our minds.
For me, photography does this.
There is no better feeling packing up my kit, putting my phone onto silent and allowing myself time to open up my creative mind. It increases my confidence, improves my mental health and it helps to ease that chattering mind that struggles to switch off.
For that reason, I am so passionate to help you enjoy this as much as I do.
My photography lessons are designed to teach children/ teens or adults. Primarily we will learn about composition and the fun ways to capture your creativity. You’ll learn the basics of camera mechanics, fun effects and most importantly, how to take a great photographs!
You/ or your family member will learn how to feel confident using their own camera/ phone to produce photos worthy of a pro!
The location of the private tuition is very flexible and can take place at a location to suit the individual. For example, a morning at the coast can be a great place to get to grips with your camera and trial new techniques or a local country park usually has lots to practise on too.
For all location based tuition, travel will be charged at 45p per mile.
My hourly rate starts at £60 per hour, with a minimum of 2 hours per lesson, each additional hour over 2 hours will be charged at £30 per hour.
I will produce a booklet covering the information that we go over on the day, so you can look back on it in the future.

My one to one tuition is for both adults and children.
All courses are bespoke; I have tutored clients who have specific objectives (i.e. photographing dogs) to clients who want to learn how to photograph their products for their business.
