As someone who prefers to stay firmly behind the camera, I know how daunting having professional images can be.
However as a professional photographer, I understand the importance of creating a strong connection between you and your ideal clients.
No longer is it ok to be regularly using stock images as people want to know your business is real and see you.
Likewise, while corporate headshots of your team of employees serves a small purpose for your team pages- you can still get more creative with these whilst remaining professional too.
It is so easy for businesses to be set up from the spare room at home it’s now even more vital why you need professional images to showcase you.
Personal branding photoshoots are not just about capturing lots of headshots of you but story telling what you do, how you do it, how and why you set up AND what makes you different.
Personal Branding Photography
During my photoshoots we capture so much more than just headshots. We will take images of you, photographs of what you do and how you do this. The images taken will be taken in a variety of sizes too so that you have everything you will need for your business.
Included in the images we will create images that are suitable for square portraits, banner and cover shots perfect for socials and website pages and also images with space for you to add text/ quotes or call to actions too.
I honestly do understand how daunting it can feel having your photographs taken but it is an essential part of running your business. You can’t hide behind a logo and stock images – it will not cut it.. and spending a fortune on a website to fill it with stock images is a complete waste of time.
As a woman working with women I have heard everything there is. I personally hate my stomach and the delightful menopause has thinned my hair which has totally affected how I feel about myself.
As part of the planning process we talk about all of these things because the more information I am armed with, the more I can help with.
Clever staging and posing along with positioning of your clothes and props along with the angles that I end up in for the perfect shot all help you to look and feel your best.
So trust me when I say – I get it.
I have worked with women who have felt too big, too thin, they haven’t likes areas of their body, they are worried about some injuries or scars that they have, that they have hairpieces or wigs right through to one of my own and my wonderful hot flushes.. sometimes I need a minute to cool off when they come along before having more photographs taken.
